At the sunny beginner’s area at the ski resort Goldeck-Lake Millstatt (15min away) we have our warm and cozy tent. Our child care team will take care of your child. It's the right place to find some rest and warm up during the skiing lessons or after the family skiing day and the right pace for fun winter games in the snow. Your child is in the ski resort and in good hands. For children older than 4 y. from Monday to Friday in the period from 26.12. until 10.3.

With the new over 200m² artificial ice rink, sun and ice form the sunniest ice skating rink in Carinthia. A special ice skating experience, sunny and family-friendly and completely environmentally friendly without water and cooling. Look forward to your first steps on the ice, children's skating courses with Andrea, ice hockey tournaments, sociable curling rounds and atmospheric ice parties. Skates can be borrowed from the hotel and of course there are cosy sunny spots to watch and relax.
Skiparadise Lake Millstatt
15 minutes, from the hotel to the base station of the more than 2000m high Goldeck mountain. It has the longest black slope, for advanced skiers, of the Alps. Here you will find an attractive beginner's area with new lifts and magic rugs, our hotel’s own children's tent, a snow park and free-ride terrain for the youth.

- Skiing: The ski area Goldeck- Millstätter See is the mountain on our doorstep. The valley station can be reached from the hotel in 15 minutes. Numerous other beautiful ski resorts can be reached in just 30 minutes by car from the hotel. With our Ski-pass you can enjoy all the ski resorts in the combined-offer.
- Ice skating: Even if lake Millstatt is not frozen over, the smaller lakes in the area usually are, so there is ice skating fun to be had.
- Cross-country skiing: in the nearby Bad Kleinkirchheim ski resort, along lake Millstatt’s high plateau or along the Drau, the Spittaler Auen or the high-altitude trail at the Goldeck-Millstätter See ski area
- Tobogganing: Many mountain huts are open in winter. These can either be reached on foot or you can go up with the "Hüttentaxi".

The family hotel Post is enchanting this winter.
Every day after sliding down our very own snow covered winter fun hill, our slope changes to a magic mountain. Smiley serves punch for the little ones as well as icicles lollies. Millstatt’s largest “ice dwarf” starts to glow and the magic mountain beams in colorful colors. Cheerful and happy children sing and dance with Smiley, Schnappi, the small crocodile, the gorilla with the sunglasses, the singing Kangaroo… on the slope, thirsty they strengthen themselves at the “dwarf-bar”. Occasionally the ice princess shows up from the fog and leads the children to the children’s table near the crackling open fire. The magic mountain is once again a ski slope. Our magic mountain just by the hotel offers a lot of fun, either sliding down with a sleigh or trying the first curves on skies or just to play in the snow.

The coaches of the Sports school Krainer (Bad Kleinkirchheim) and the Sports academy (ski resorts Goldeck-Millstätter See) offer great individual lessons and fun group courses for your child.
Exclusive skishuttle
For our guests we offer an exclusive Ski Shuttle Service (26.12. until 10.3.) to the alpine resort Bad Kleinkirchheim and Goldeck/Lake Millstätter.
Daily the shuttle bus will take you from the Hotel directly to the slopes and in the afternoon once again back to the hotel. If your children take part in a ski course with the skilled ski instructors, they will be received by the instructors and after the course your children will be accompanied back to the shuttle bus. Your children will be well looked after and can participate in the course without parents.

Nun setzt der „Sportberg“ neue Maßstäbe für die Freestyle Community mit einem erstklassigen Funpark – dem Snowpark Goldeck. Beim umfangreichen Konzept wurde auf die langjährige Erfahrung des renommierten Snowpark Labels QParks gesetzt. Somit können sich Snowboarder und Freeskier in der kommenden Saison auf ein exzellentes Parkdesign mit einem vielfältigen Set-Up für alle Könnerstufen freuen, das obendrein täglich von einer professionellen Crew betreut wird.
